There are many ways to reduce the cost of your holiday from searching around, using comparison sites and looking for special offers. Bulgaria, known as the Jewel of the Balkans, offers a mix of history, rich culture, landscapes and beaches. This country is highly recommended and is only starting to be discovered as a holiday destination for Western countries.
Venturing out of the Euro zone means you can find better value holidays. Iceland has become a very popular destination recently due to its economic difficulties; it used to be known as being a fairly expensive place to visit. You can be in Iceland in just a few hours. This unspoilt mysterious country offers a very unique experience, wonderful sights to explore to give a truly magical holiday you won’t forget for a long time.
Morocco is another country which is becoming increasing popular. Visiting fantastic cities like Marrakech and Fez for an experience that will be a treat for your senses. Waiting to find is an onslaught of lively sights, amazing smells and sounds. The Atlantic Coast has beautiful warm beaches and the Atlas Mountains stunning scenery. Morocco is a fantastic value location that won’t stretch your purse strings.
Apparently the best value holiday for the British this year is offered by Thailand. Although the Thai Baht has strengthened against the pound it still remains low in the country so once you get there things are very cheap, dinner costs just a few pounds for two people.
The cheapest of cheap holidays is, no surprise, the UK. The UK has many fantastic locations from Edinburgh, London, Belfast and Cardiff to the beautiful Lake District.
